No booster seat is just as dangerous.

Many parents are unaware of the importance of proper use and installation of child passenger safety restraints and related laws.  Through a media campaign (together with law enforcement) the public will be educated about or made aware of the issues.  Information regarding the opportunity to seek assistance from technicians trained and certified in proper installation techniques will be available.

In 2015, four children less than eight years of age were killed and 61 suffered serious injuries as occupants in motor vehicle crashes in Missouri.  Thirteen percent of the children killed or seriously injured were not restrained in a car seat or safety belt.

Car crashes are a leading cause of death for children 1 to 13 years old in the United States.
